About Me

Md. Golam Mahbub is a dynamic Bangladeshi government official with a proven track record in public administration, technology-driven governance, and youth development. Currently serving as District ICT Officer at the Department of ICT, he previously played a pivotal role at the ICT Division, where he contributed significantly to national digital transformation initiatives.

 With years of experience leading and managing innovative ICT projects, Mahbub has been instrumental in developing systems such as the Surokkha vaccine management platform, e-governance solutions, and digital services that have enhanced efficiency, transparency, and citizen engagement across Bangladesh. His leadership extended to strategic areas like cybersecurity policy, Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) planning, and digital skills development. 

 A passionate advocate for innovation, he is also deeply engaged in creating youth-oriented initiatives, digital literacy campaigns, and local capacity-building programs. His vision emphasizes a tech-empowered, inclusive, and smart Bangladesh aligned with national and global development goals. 

Beyond his professional life, Md. Golam Mahbub is known for his thoughtful writing, creative digital storytelling, and social awareness campaigns through platforms like Hack Pack Bangladesh and “অর্বাচীন কথক”, a satirical and insightful Facebook page. He is a committed civil servant, devoted father, and lifelong learner, continuously striving to bridge technology with governance for the betterment of society.
